MR2 Searching...

Ok, I've been trying to decide if I should buy a car before I move and have it around here in the US for any visits, and I have decided yes. I had contemplated an RX-7 or 3000GT VR-4, but I've decided on a MkII MR2 GT-S. Now my questions are as follows, how had is it going to be to find one with the JDM engine in it (3s-GTE?). I'm tall, 6'3" am I going to need to buy some racing seats to let me fit semi comfortably in it? :D Also, do you recommend 17" or 18" wheels?

I believe the Turbo has the 3S-GTE (correct me if I'm wrong), but it's slightly de-tuned from the Japanese model. The turbo model pushes 200hp/200ft-lbs. :coolguy:

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to look around for a japanese engine, I like the idea of 260~ horses in that little car :)

I've been looking around on www.autotrader.com and I found quite a few that advertise a "Japanese Moter" or "j-spec moter" so it shouldn't to to hard to find. Either that or I'll just do a swap :)
