how is our top speed determine

well, i was wondering since i haven't read that many magazines articles, and even the one i've read doesn't have it...how is our top speed determined...is it drag limited, red line limited, or governor limited, rev limiter...for all 3 levels of our cars..base, sl, vr4.... :screwy:

vr4 doesn't have a governor.

Drag limited for VR4, I thought it was 165 mph.

Stock I thought 160ish for the vr4. Limited by drag as was said.

a vr-4 would probably be drag limited to around 170, my friend took his BPU (intake, mbc @ 14 psi, stillen downpipe) up to 175 and said he still had more. Any turbo upgrade will get you past 180 easily.
