need some help

Hi, I just got my cavalier today. It is a pimp'd out 03!...anyway, I was going to put my cd player in it today. Went to about 5 different stores until I found one that had the correct wiring harness. Hok, this is where I need help. They guy told me that I have to connect this red wire that came seperate (not attached to anything else) in the kit and he said that needs to be connected to the ignition wire, I got that part, but where does the other end go?...2nd'ly....how does the dash come off. I followed the instructions...took all the screws out...I think, but it seems to be stuck by the airbag. I didn't want to pull to hard for fear of breaking it....is that normal, or what am I doing wrong?....My neon was so much easier to get the dash off..lol....thanks guys in advance!
