Another AC thread

Got a 2001 Venture WBE with rear AC and it sucks. (not the van, Just the AC)
Recently had the AC serviced and brought up to a full charge.
It blows cool air but not cold.
Dealer says that there is nothing wrong with it but the mother in law has a caravan and it is alot colder as well as my Ranger's AC.
Any ideas or is this normal for this van?
Also...
Is it normal for the blower to stop blowing for a second when you accelerate?
I can't tell if the compressor kicks in our out when it happens due to the sound of the engine.

If it had a leak, you can recharge it (which you have done) but it can also get moisture in it. This means changing the cannister. To check the compressor, the discharge hose should be hot. If the compressor is worn it will have to be replaced. The blower may still be running, but if the damper doors are vacuum operated they may close during acceleration with the drop in vacuum, so you quit feeling the air blowing. Don't know if the compressor kicks out on these during acceleration...
Make sure you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere - if the dampers don't operate properly it may even be leaking warm air from the heater core through the evaporator...
