Engine Swap For 240sx

I'M GOING TO START A NEW PROJECT CAR SOON FOR STREET/DRIFT. I'M ULTIMATLY LOOKING AT THE OLDER 240SX. SO HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:

IS A K24 WITH A TURBO KIT BETTER OR WORSE THAN AN SR20DET SWAP?

DOES THE K24s REV SLOWER THAN SR20s RESULTING IN MORE TURBO LAG? (HEARD THAT FROM A SOME GUY @ IRWINDALE BACK IN FEBUARY)

OR

COULD A RB25/26 (YES FROM AN R33 OR 34) BE DROPPED IN PLACE OF THE K24?? (I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT DONE YET)

I'M RELATIVELY NEW TO THE DRIFT SCENE, BUT I KNOW THAT MOST NISSAN PROFESSIONAL DRIFT CARS USE SR20s, OR FOR THE INSANE A VARIATION OF AN RB25 OR 26.

sr20detts i would say would be the best choice in swaps..it is possible to drop a rb26dett and roll with a rb26 tranny.i even saw pictures of a guy putting in a vg30dett(300zx twin turbo) in the 240sx. If you dont have enough money for the swaps, the KA truck motor is still a good motor to work with. They even came out with a turbokit for the KA(check out greddy). also keep in mind 89-90 ones that come in SOHC(KA24E ) and DOHc engines are in the KA24DE platform. you should keep in mind that the guys from japan prefer the sR as the engine of choice especially the endless amount of engine goodies compared to the KA. as long as you finely tune your KA, you should have no problem out on the streets. If youre looking for that extreme swap and want to be different youll probably be interested in this http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/0309scc_hybrid/

There have been plenty of rb series engines dropped in 240s now, its a possibility if you have the money. There are also plenty of turbo kits for the ka24de. I suggest trying to drive both a sr20det and ka24det powered 240 to see which one you like better. Both engines have their strong and weak points.
