02 explorer power seat trouble

The drivers side seat is powered and the seat will go up & down and TILT front & back but it wont GO back & forth when you move the switch it clicks but doesn't move

There is a placstic slide associated with the seat belt buckle.
It has been a common problem, cause it jams and will
not let the power seat move forward or backward.
