Power on the MK1

Im getting power hungry and I would like to know if their are any turbo or supercharger kits out for the MK1. Any info would be appreciated and if anyone can think of any other way to get lots of power please share. Thnx ahead of time.

:iceslolan A good point, One thing alot of ppl tell me about doing the swap is that it really messes with how the car handles (I love the way it handles now) and I was thinking with a turbo or supercharger I can have the handling with a little more kick (whipple supercharger cost $2600) and I dont know how much a shop would do it for because most of the shops here wont work on an MR2. ac427cpe, you have a MK1.5 dont you? Did the swap make a big difference in the cars handling? Cause thats the main thing Im worried bout.

i did the swap in hopes of making a nationally competative AutoX car. It's on its way... :D

new shocks were more of a handling help than the engine was a hindrance.

but, more power = need for better suspension.

just do a 4agze swap w/ a upgraded supercharger. easier, less expensive, and you can get 180-200hp
