Which engine for turbo??

I was wondering which engine would be best for a turbo upgrade.
I was think along the lines of a JDM B18B Engine or JDM B20B.
But I have read that the B20B are not good for high rpms and they don't have bottom ends for boost but they can support boost as long as it doesn't excede 7-8psi.
As for the B18B I believe that it has been proven that these motors are great for turbo.
I guess I just want people opinions on which engine and why.
Price is also a factor and which would be cheaper but give the best results?
Other setups are welcome but I was just wondering mainly about these to engines.

Thanks,

GSR or B16A Both will rock a boosted LS. LS is good, low comp, easier to tune, but I say, don't short change youself, turbo is about flow, vtec heads are about flow, it's like peanut butter and jelly.

any b series with the exception of the b20 will be good for boost.
