99 eclipse gs.. no power

Hi All!! Please Help If You Can. I Have A 99 Eclipse. Aprox 64,000miles. About 6 Months Ago I Had To Take My Car Off The Road For Financial Reason, Got Addicted To Hooking It Up I Guess. Anyway The Point That I Need Help With Is Well, The Dope That I Am Didnt Regularlly Start The Car Like I Knew I Should Have. The Last Time That I Tried , I Could Tell That The Battery Was Dieing, All Lights Dimming Etc. Ugh. Anyway , I Tried Jumping It And Got No Where.. I Figured I Need A New Battery So I Got One And Put In In Today. Well I Tried To Start The Car And Nothing, No Lights Nothing.. Im Not A Car Guru But I Can Figure Out It Must Be A Power(electrical) Issue, I Have Read The Entire Manual And Nada. Did I Blow The Computer ? Is There A Main Power Fuse... Please If You Can Help I Want To Drive My Baby Again....obviously I Will Have A Mechanic Look At It But I Dont Want To Look Silly If It Is Something Simple.

YES IT IS SAD BUT TRUE. NOTHING AT ALL.. DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA WHY.

What happens when you try to turn the key? Do any lights come on, clicking noises, can you roll the windows down if powered? Need more information as to what the car does when you try to start it.

Check the connections on the battery to make sure it has a good connection, also make sure the ground going to the frame is good, no corrosion or anything like that.

Well i found to the battery cables connecters were ok attached to the battery but the part attached to the alternator was corroded.. i fixed and all is well. Finally able to get the pedal to the medal. Thanx all for you help. I really appreaciate it.
