About two months ago my back left wheel on my 03 Spec V was squeeking a lot. I looked at my break pads and they were pretty worn/pitted so I replaced both the pads and rotors with ceramic pads and drilled/slotted rotors. (All of this was professionally installed) Anyway, now the same wheel is making a slight metal on metal rubbing sound When I turn corners and it did a little before I got my new brakes, so I know those aren't the problem. Could it be a wheel bearing? If so... how expensive are these to replace at a shop? If it's too pricey, does anyone know if it's an easy do it yourself job? Need Input soon... before my wheel locks up. Also: The car has been dragging slightly to the left at high speeds... I have heard this can be related.

hard to tell
jack up your car and try shifting the guilty wheel around. if you can move the wheel AT ALL(even a smidgeon) separate from the axle, then its a bearing
not too sure but...my friend's 2001 sentra SE did the same thing(but on the front wheel(s)), and it got crazy loud after a while, but a small front end collision later and it went away... not too sure but it may be a fault with the B15. my old b14 SE didnt do it at all and i drove that thing a LOT
doubt its the bearing
that makes more of a sound like sandy growling when it goes

I haven't the slightest, but check all your suspension bushings at that wheel. That's the only thing I can possibly think of. Slideways is right, a bad wheel bearing is more of a grindy, sandy noise.

Well... I was wrong. The more I payed attention, the more I narrowed it down to it making the noise in my front end when i turn right at slow to moderate speeds. Probably my left wheel. Any input about that???

Really? What about cv joins/shaft? And how much is that to replace?

C/V joints/shaft are parts of an axle assembly. You will need to buy the whole assembly when you replace it. I looked around at a couple online parts places, but couldn't find a price, lots of these places want you to call. I do know that most axles, if you bring the core back after you replace it, tend to run about 80-120 bucks. Since the Spec V doesn't have equal lenght axles, I'm gonna assume one is more expensive than the other. I don't know how hard it is on a Sentra (haven't had to replace one yet), but typically axle replacements aren't really that tough of a job, if you have the proper tools. Dealer or shop will prob charge about 60-80 bucks to put it in if you want to go that route.
