My brakes for the most part work just fine but every now and then they do this strange "jumping" feeling when i am stopping at a stop sign, light, etc... Like they stop, then jump, then it's fine. does this make sense?? It just doesnt feel right.
Sound like all new brakes????

Does it have a kind of a "growl" when it does it?
There have been some discussions over at tcca about the abs growl
it also feels like what you are describing

Does it feel like the brakes release, or do you maybe just have a couple of warped rotors? If you step on the brakes while traveling on the highway, not so much as to be a traffic hazard, but enough that they are slowing the car, does the brake pedal pulsate or the steering wheel shake?

Could the "jump" be the A/C compressor cycling?
