last night i turned on my headlights and got out to talk to a friend, and my driver side corner light is out. both bulbs inside do not light up on either of the two 'light settings'. this is the first time i noticed it and i had just recently been away for a week, but i didnt notice it the night i got back when i was driving home from work.
anyway, this isnt cool especially cuz i have gotten a ticket for blue bulbs in the corners, so i payed more to get 'white' leds and now this..
also just for a little extra info, i think i have a little condensation in that corner light. i dont know if that would have an effect on wiring or the connection to the bulbs or what. i dont think leds are too sensitive to moisture. but i dunno.
thoughts?

thanks for that one.
i just thought its a bit strange that both would go out at the same time, dont you agree? obviously if one bulb went out i'd just replace it. but because they're both out im just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if theres a bigger problem, im just asking before i go mess around with it cuz im going to work in a while and so i dont wanna go driving without my corner light on.
so basically, sarcastic responses arent what im going for. thanks anyway.

See that's why you should have done what was done to my corners... they're clear but the bulbs are painted blue so it does the same effect. BTW, they're still super bright. I couldn't imagine how bright they'd be without the blue... (still shine white)

Well, did you even try changing the bulbs?! I think its funny that you posted a question on a message board when the most obvious response seems to be the one to give to try and help you.
Change the bulbs and then come back.

It happened to me before. Before you replace the bulb(s), jiggle or mess with the harness, it might just be a loose connection. It is 16 years old. Also, if you have condensation in the corner just check the seal. Some clear silicone will do the trick.

well im glad at least one person actually had something useful to say.
if you read my previous posts, i explained why i asked. i didnt have time earlier today to mess around with it, and so i just asked to see if anyone else has had this problem and could offer some advice based on experience.
i think this site should be laughed at more for the lack of meaningful or helpful responses to honest questions. come on guys, i realize its not the most intense problem, but the only response necessary to my question is the one above this.
clearly everyone here is extremely eager to go after anyone who wants to know something that may be deemed trivial by the super cool kids who patrol the forums for posts like these. by the way, thats not a super cool characteristic fellas.:gay: if you actually said something genuinely humorous i wouldnt mind so much, but wow, those were some real beauties up there.
honestly. if you feel that this is trivial, why are you even bothering to waste your time even answering to it?
but anyway, im obviously wasting my time even responding to all these aspiring comedians, so i'll end it at that.
hopefully you can understand what im saying here and not continue to dig deeper into such a shallow subject.
big thanks to ViewtifulCivic for giving actual advice based on a similar experience, and to turtlecrxsi for at least avoiding ridiculous sarcasm.
what was i thinking asking a question in an automotive forum.

Wasting time is the whole point of being on the interenet.
Did you really need someone to tell you to maybe wiggle the connectors? Hopefully you're not that useless.
Sarcasm is funny. I'd say 60% of my post on here are just to laugh at the subject. Burnt out corner light bulbs just aren't much of a cause for concern, let alone a topic. The topic is lame and I figured I'd point it out and maybe someone (myself included) would smile about it. I could see if perhaps you'd replaced the bulbs and they weren't working still or something along those lines, but you really created the whole topic out of bordem so we repsonded all the same.
Sorry you're such a tightass. Now go change your light bulbs. You want a write-up perhaps, or someone to suggest the easiest way to do it?!

lol ok SiZ that last one was good. i completely agree that its a weak problem. i just think that it was overdone with something like 3 people trying to be funny. i just asked cuz i didnt have time to do anything and yea.. i've been over this.
but im getting distracted by team america world police, so it looks like my work here is done.
oh and 'tightass' is clever, but really doesnt describe me accurately. thats the first time i've received that one.
tomorrow i'll get more bulbs and provide a much needed update to my urgent situation.
