Beautiful! I'm really loving that chrome yellow. And the CF looks great!

Looks nice. I look forward to seeing this progress.
TIP: If you trim the lip, that the windshield sits on, off of the A-pilar from about 1/2 way down the a-pillar to the bottom, the glass will fit much better and wont lift away from the roof when you glue it. I forgot to take a pic of mine after I trimmed that away, but it works well.

Nice color choice! Are you sticking with the wheels supplied in the kit??
Wanna see more. Maybe you Gallardo-guys start a "meet"-thread, so we can see all the nice Gallardo lined up in one thread!

Good job on your interior. Is it me, or does the gray look kinda green in the pic?

in fact the dark gray is Tamiya Gray Green but i photoshopped the pic to bring out the details and it looks much more green then in real life. but i intentionally was going for Yellow exterior with green and black leather interior. also i havent done much detail on interior yet but thank you very much.

Nice! I'm not really a big fan of those wheels, but for some reason they work really well with your yellow Gallardo, good choice.

Nice paint job, and the engine looks great so far. The rims look a bit little though

I used SMS Faux Fabrix. 3 very light mist coats for the covers. the wheels look a bit small in picture but they are the same size as stock wheels. also the body is just sitting on them so once ride height is adjusted they should fill out a bit. to be honest, my personal rim selection is the weakest thing in my collection of models :disappoin
all my rims are from kits, the only after market rims i have are Nismos. my LHS cant get rim sets  ill play around with the rim choice some more when chassis is completed.
Thanks for all the comments.

Stunning paintjob... Is that after polish and wax, or is that straight from the can? Looks superb.

I had a little polishing to do. i used Tamiya Finish Compound and then applied Meguiar's Gold Class wax. the nice thing about yellow is thats its real thin and likes to sit real flat and smooth.

UPDATE!!!!
Well i just spent 5 hours on this little detail. I CF'ed the enigine cover and vents based on the Miura Corse Gallardo (Phil has seen this beauty;)). It took me 4 tries and each time i had to slightly modify my pattern. i was going to give up after the 3rd try because CF is expensive but i gave it another shot and suceeded. this is all one piece. it would have been easier doing each slat seperate but i wanted a seemless look. still have a little work left on it then i need to mask and clear it. but im excited about the look.
