CRX going to be stored for a Few years...

as some of you may or may not know, I am heading back to school. the program I am taking is moving me from my home in Eastern Canada (New-Brunswick) and taking me to Ontario for the next 3 years. I have desided that the CRX will not make the journey with me... but I put too much money in it to sell it... so it will be stored... my new workhorse for the next couple years is a 95 Mazda Protege LX, has lots of Creature Comforts like A/C, Cruise, Power Windows, Power Locks... a trunk... and the most important thing SPACE to Haul all my crap.

I got a real sweet deal on the car... so the car is getting a much needed vacation only to come out Better than it ever was when it comes back... with it's bigger Brother(no not the Mazda) but a Secret Project I have been planning for about 3 years now... it's an Import... it's a 6spd and RWD is all you getting. :icon16: ... and it's not what you think.

I forgot about that s2000 was 6spd + rwd... makes sense to me...

storing the car for multiple reasons, mainly Reliability... I'm sure the motor will be ok... but it's everything else I'm worried about... not having money to be able to fix it... that and possibly gettin the car stolen... not something I want to risk.

that and going home 1500km I want to have cruise... A/C is a good Idea in Ontario from what I hear... I can't stand being too hot either...

If it's an import like you say... with a V8 it's either an Audi A8, BMW, Mercedes or a truck (Nissan Titan or Toyota Tundra)...

damn that sounds like a pipe dream to me and im now working 2 jobs! hope it all works out for ya dude i rode in a 2002 540 with a upgraded susp package and some kinda of sexy deep dish rims.. demin or something and it had soo much balls and the best ride i ever been in. it will also pickup pussy without a prob!!! my civi attracts the hot lil latinas yummy! :grinyes:

TT a 540i so it'll be in the range of 500whp...if you're gonna toss out that kind of $$$...might as well get the almighty M5...i keep looking at 2002 models but i don't have $50k

I'm holding out for a nine series. If I cash in my 401k when I'm 95 I should be able to buy a 05 model with 800,000 miles.

IMO....i'd get an 8 series....reminds me of knight rider

the 540 is Considerably cheaper than the M5, but has all the features of the M5 ( LSB, Sport suspension ... ect) only to buy a used say 99 540i Sport, would only cost like 15k... a Used M5 of the same vintage would be about 40k.

Since the motor is getting built and turboed... the motor difference between the 540 and the M5 are negligable... I figure the Project will run around the 30k mark... give or take.
