93 Grand Am SE 6 cylinder automatic

I have a 93 Grand Am SE with a 6 cylinder engine and tranny transplanted into it. My problem is the steering pump, it is loose and makes this horrible squeeling noise when the car is running. Can this be tightened by hand or do I need to go to a mechanic. Also my ABS light keeps coming on, it goes up if I hit a hard bump. Other then that it is in perfect condition and I cant bitch too much for $500.00 bucks. Any help would be appreciated.
