D light blinking

My 03 CRV with approx. 63,000km, is having this problem with the D light blink. I've done two A/T oil change at 30,000km interval. It doesn't have a fix pattern when this problem will occur. Sometimes I can drive for days without seeing this problem but at times it will occur more then 3 times within a day. Once this problem occurs, all I've to do is to turn the ignition off and then start the car again and the blinking is gone. I've sent the car to Honda Authorised Center and the diagnostic tools confirm that the A/T malfunction. All they did was to reset the computer and D light is back to normal for a week or so before the blinking occur again. Has anyone experience this before? I'm just worried that the A/T might fail while I'm on the freeway.

do you happen to have an alarm or remote start installed in the CR-V?
If so the starter interupt relay needs to be removed. This could be a possible cause for your problem. if not your tranny computer might be faulty.

1) I also have a 2002 CRV that has developed exactly similar problem of D light blinking. when I sop and change to parking it will still blink on the D while the parking light is on. The shift also will be noisy. If I switch off and on again the blinking will stop and gears will engage smoothly until the blinking starts again.

2)The speedometer also has stopped working and moves erratically up and down and most times does not move at all.

I have alarm installed and antitheft cut off button.

Please adivise any help.

what do i do to fix the blinking problem and the speedometer.
