Sunroof

I was by my friends house and I got out of my car and I shut the door and my friend told me to open and shut it again. So I did it and I asked why I had to do that and he said that my sunroof hops up in the air. I asked my friend to do it on his 03 Grand Am and it did the same thing. Does anyone else have this problem? Is something bad going to happen?

it jumps up like a half inch when you shut the door then it goes back down.

Wierd. That's never happened to me. I know you can control the sunroof even after you take the key out of the ignition (until you open the door), so maybe it's got something to do with that...

check the screws that mount the hinged glass to the slider. They may have become loose, allowing it to move around a bit.
