What Do I Do??????

I gotta 91 F150 with a 5.0. I was changing my water pump and thermostat.. a pretty routine job. I removed my water pump and was going to remove my thermostat housing when a head broke off one of the thermostat housing bolts. a 1/4 of an inch was sticking out so i figured i'd be easy to remove. 2 hours later with 3 sets of vise grips and some channel locks having failed i cut it flush and began to drill. I drilled a pilot hole (broke a drill bit, drilled that out)and got an easy out in about a 1/2 inch... I began to turn and it snapped. Went to Autozone and bought those titanium bits and they dont do shit they just dull themselves after 25-30 seconds. WHAT DO I DO NOW. Are diamond bits cheap? Should I just say fuck it and pull off the lower intake and have a machine shop drill it? Are they gonna charge me an arm and a right testicle? Any advice would be great thanks for taking time to read this.

go to the local hardware store and by a masonary drill bit that will drill out the easy out. it may take more that one bit though.
