Pro Circuit Platinum or FMF SST pipe and Boyesen exhaust flange. Make sure your jetting is correct and consider a 50 tooth rear sprocket. Honda CRs are always jetted too rich from the factory.
After that Wiseco Pro-Lite piston.

You can also bore and/or stroke the motor too...if you want to go that far.
Besides that....piston, exhaust, sprockets, carbeurator, and all that good stuff. Also make sure you have a good air filter/air intake system to make sure the engine can breathe good.

As for boring the CR 250, you're limited to no more than 270 cc after boring due to the power valve. Typically a new cylinder sleeve is installed. And the cylinder must be nickasil re-plated.
BTW - The stock Honda air filter is the best there is and my second choice is Twin Air.

Thanks guys. I'm not really considering a bore kit. Just wondering if anyone had any secrets they would share. I think i'm going to get a 450. If there is anyone interested, my cr250 has v-force reeds fmf gold series pipe, shorty silencer, universal bars, fork bleeders, extra plastics, and a extra front sproket.and it's clean from top to bottom. I had just tore it down to check/grease bearings. So i cleaned the hell out of it. I'm asking $3600. Oh yeah, it's a 2004
