Length between oil changes

how many miles do you usualy put on your bike between oil changes?

it should say on your manual, but on my bike, after the initial break-in oil change, it should last me until 6K before the next one. but... you could check the viscosity of the oil through the watch glass in the engine, run the engine and if it's black and low on volume, then it's time.

pick up a haynes or clymer.

depends how anal you are.

i go every 6 months which is about 3000k's (1800Miles) but thats just for warranty for now. later on i'll go every 5000k's.

side note. just had mine serviced after 7 months and the oil was burnt. very much in need of replacement
