At the end, the guy goes "Thankfully, the driver, nor the female passenger were injured." What about the guy that got fucking run over???

I had heard a review on that clip. The F50 was so powerfull the engine just kept pushing the and the brakes couldn't control the power. I'd believe it too.

That had better be bullshit. It doesn't seem right for Ferrari to make a vehicle who's brakes couldn't stop the car. If that was the case then that guy should've just pushed in the clutch, powerful engine problem solved.

Anybody else have an explanation of what happened?? Does the F50 come with ABS??

In the last replay before the end of the clip it dosen't look like the front wheels turn at all, eventhough he is clearly cranking the wheel to the right.

Thats what you get for autocrossing in the rain next to a ledge on tires probably highly ill suited for the H2O.

Barring that:

or the wheels locked. It was a wet road as well. IF there's ABS, it either failed or it was shut off.

I don't think he even touched the brake, at least not untill it was to late. And at that point he had so much lock on there isn't an ABS or stablity managment system in existance that could have saved him.

It looks like he tried to turn in and the car was simply going to fast and so ploughed straight ahead.
Instead of straightening the wheels and/or lightly braking he simply turned the wheel more and made the situation worse.
If Im not mistaken the F50 does have some very barely legal tyres, i.e. not recomended for use in the wet.

I noticed that too. Could the axle of snapped?

He doesn't look like he's going very fast. You can see him turning the wheel, but not going very fast, if it was slowed down, the motion of him turning the wheel would be slowed too, but it isn't.

Thoughts?
