G6 GT VS Lincoln LS V8

At lunch today, I took off at a light in my G6 GT and noticed a Lincoln LS accelerating quickly next to me. I was only at half throttle when I noticed he was trying to out accelerate me. When I noticed that he floored it, I floored it. He pulled ahead of me by a half a car. The next light I punched it, he could not get passed me, and I pulled a car length on him. Not bad against a 35,000 Car with a 280hp V8.

it was probably the v6 the run low 16s, whereas the v8 run mid to low 15s. Your G6 runs high 15s

I agree, the LS V8 would have pulled on you. I have made intakes for both and had a chance to drive each one. The LS V8 (even with 20" rims on it) still felt stronger.

Well at any rate, I gave the G6 to my wife and bought a Pontiac GTO, 6-speed last month. I beat the LS V8 in the G6, now I'm sure I can still smoke it in my GTO.
