Hey guys, another question about a possible car. This guys says that the engine dies when the rpms fall and that it is the MAF. Could that really be? What else could it be? How much would a MAF be at a parts store or junk yard? Would it be something we could change in a couple hours? Any special tools needed? Thanks in advance for any help.

It can be a lot more then just a MAF
Not sure how much it costs, but its a few bolts...or is it screws...you take off and replace it. Should take 20min

Ok thanks man. Turns out the guy put a rod through the block, so we dont have to worry about buying that one!
