anybody know of a complete bulb list for replacing the stocks in a 3rd gen? i saw sylvania's website, but those numbers don't seem to be interchangeable with other brands....maybe it's just me.

H4656 - Low Beam Headlight
H4651 - HIgh Beam Headlight
2112 - Dome
1156 - Backup
885 - Fog
194 - License Plate
194 - Front Marker
2057 - Brake
891 - High Mount (3rd) Brake
2057 - Tail
168 - Trunk
2057 - Turn Signal Front & Rear
93 - Underhood
You may find a listing for a 194 being the instrument cluster light. In my experience though, I have found that these must be soldered into small sockets that the old bulbs were attached to. You may want to go to GM to get these, but all the rest can be found at your local parts store.

I believe you can find the fog light bulb 885 at a parts store. If you want to replace the lens/housing, that's much more expensive as you have indicated. I have mine off right now because I'm painting my car, and I am going to try some polish that is supposed to clear them up, hopefully it'll work well, because I would rather not replace them.

89 what I believe he is trying to do is replace every bulb to keep it 'up to date' which I have wanted to do because then you dont have to worry if your lights are out when you're driving which then will get you stopped by a cop for something you didnt even know, I highly recommend it though because our 3rd gens are old..

well i commend you for putting forth the effort, i just subscribe to the idea that if it aint broke dont fix it. cops rarely give a ticket for a light out unless youve been pulled over for it before. unless they are in a bad mood or its end of the month.
