Renagade Racing Ported NPI (stock) heads from a '95-'00 4.6/5.4L, w/"PI" cams. Should be more than enough to destroy your trans.

he is telling you to take some 'stock' '95-'00 heads; and to find some 'pi' cams. in this case pi = performance improved. this will raise your compression, flow, and horsepower enough to make you happy.... or destroy your tranny.
just make sure your tranny is sound, and you do frequent tranny flushes!

Yes a higher lift and duration cam will make a huge difference, especially with the porting modification to support it.

yes modmech you are correct!! there is no suck thing as a police interceptor cam. all the 4.6 motors have the same overhead cam 93 and up i believe.

92-95, 96-00, 01-present; 3 different cams/heads
then again maybe 95 had the same as 96, i can't remember...
either way, 01 and up were 'pi'. performace improved.

ok then whats the difference in horsepower between a 93 and say a 2001?
