how many sproings???

I recently purchased "90" model Ranger XLT. I'm wondering about this ,on the rear end, the drivers side has 4 springs and on the passenger side it has 3 !!. Is this normal or is some corrective spring getting in order ??? Any help would be appreciated ,Thanks in advance!! cougar

Sounds like there is a spring broken. Look at another ao the same era and see which is correct. It may be that there is a spring broken on the side that has 4 and previous ownef found it cheapet to add one leaf to it.
