Hi!
Ok.. Got a problem..
I was trying to install a new CD head unit in my '93 Civic Ex. I was "testing" the head unit because I got it refurbed. I didn't have all my wires covered well. I was planning to test the head unit to make sure it worked then clean up all the connections to the wiring harness.
Ok.. ok.. I see now, not a great idea. Anyway the ineviatable happened, two uncovered grounded wires touched.. Boom! (don't try this at home)..
So I replaced the fuse in the main fuse box. Still the head unit wouldn't work.. I thought to myself.. you've blow the unit completely..
So I decided to put the factory unit back in and it works.. With one major problem..
The RADIO and the CLOCK will not keep settings now.. Besides the fact that I can barely see the clock..
I've checked all the fuses I can find and nothing seems to be blown..
I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I had the cigarette lighter unplugged, but I plugged it back in and still the same issue..
Please help me!! I can't stand it..!!

Definately your fuse, better do a better job looking for blown fuses if you cant find it -- you do know what a blown fuse looks like yes?
But yeah, wouldn't have even bothered trying to "test" the unit unless the conections were at least covered in electrical tape -- of course the time it takes to do that, you could just properly crimp all the wires and then test it. Hope you find your fuse...
