Fuckin ROCKED!

Got their about noon and stayed til about 10. Saw Hawthrone Heights, Thrice, Billy Idol, Dropkick Murphys, The Offspring, My Chemical Romance, MXPX, No Use For A Name, Strung Out and Avenged Sevenfold.

I was about 4 people back for A7X and Offspring and it was effing nuts. We were mashed so tightly I could pull my legs up and not fall or even slide at all. It was about 95-100 degrees all day til about 5:30. I had my first crowd surfing experience right before the last Offspring song, and got my body beat to absolute hell in the Murphys mosh pit.

I havent had so much fun in a LONG time!!!

Anyone else go? (This was the Denver show btw)

OOO sweet! I wish A7X would tour down under!! I've seen The Offspring live only once, in 1999 for their Americana Tour, it rocked!

Snapped up any pics?

you wouldn't have wanted to take it in with you anyways. cameras do not like mosh pits. and i brought a camera into a concert once before, and i found that i was being way more cautious in the mosh pit cause i didn't want to fuck up my camera. so the whole time i was worried about my camera instead of having fun moshing. it's not worth it, let someone who's paid to do it take the pictures and you can look at them later.

anyways, i've got my ticket sitting right in front of me here. July 30th is the Toronto date, and this'll be my 4th year. there's not nearly as many good bands playing this year though. last year i saw Alexisonfire, Billy Talent, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria, Thursday, From First to Last, Silverstein, and a few others. this year, not a single one of those bands is coming.

but oh well, there's lots of underground bands that i'm excited to see this year. like Greeley Estates, Emery, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, A Willhelm Scream, Saosin (can't fucking wait to see these guys) etc. MCR should also be good, as will Thrice, Matchbook Romance, Motion City Soundtrack, and Atreyu. i'm excited to see the Offspring too, but i can't stand the Transplants so i won't be watching them.

anyways, i can't wait and i need to start saving money for merch cause i can think of like 5 t-shirts i want to buy.

I wish I could have gone when they came to washington, but it was a 4 hour drive and I am not old enough to legally drive, nor did my parents want to take me. The lineup would have been killer to see though, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Thrice, Underoath, Silverstein, Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights etc...

yeah...so that was my day on saturday. i think that's everyone i saw...it's hard to remember. fucking absolutely amazing day. i moshed so hard that i am STILL sore today, 2 days later. during Boys Night Out's last song, i was in the very centre of the circle pit, and got this massive adrenaline rush, and just started going crazy. i was throwing down guys who were twice my size. i just went fucking ape-shit. i also met the lead singer of The Bled, the bass guitarist from Silverstein (who actually RECOGNIZED me from when i met him at the last show. how fucking cool is that??), and one of the guitarist's from Hawthorne Heights. i'm sore, i'm sunburnt, and i'm still tired, but damn it was worth it. i can't wait until next year.

It's an awsome feeling when they remember you huh. Dustin from Thrice remembers me and a friend, we go to every show in reno and saltlake, he is amazed that we drive that far. far being 250 to salt lake and 3xx to reno....4 hours and 6 hours..BUT it's WELL worth it.
