sunroof question

would anyone happen to know if the glass moon/sunroof from the 5th gen. fit in place of the sunroof for the 4th gen?

im not an expert, but i have put a little bit of research into it. there is some kind of s pecial kit you can buy to put a glass sunroof into a gen 4, but i wouldnt go out and buy a gen 5 moonroof and just do it.If you search ebay, you should be able to find what your lookin for.Good luck with installations, i want to do it one day too, so let me know how it goes if u do it.

i think the glass panel from a 5th gen is larger than a 4th gen moon roof so i don't think that would work, but i'm pretty sure that somebody makes a glass panel for it. or if you don't want it to move you could use a piece of plexiglass or lexan and make your own see through panel. good luck.

I've heard about the glass moon roof for the 4th gen too, but i also heard that if u get that put in, its not a sunroof that opens, its just a moon roof to stare at the sky with...I still want mine to open all the way
