Questions about my 2

first off, the engine is blown and I was wondering if I should replace it with a v6 or just throw a 5sfe in it. I do want to modify, and from what i hear the 5sfe sucks for bolt-ons. I'm also concerned about the mid rearness of the mr2 and learning how to drive it with the v6 in it. I've looked at car-part.com and found the the v6 is actually cheaper than the 5sfe, which struck me as odd. Most of them are from automatics camrys and I"m not sure if it would bolt up to my stock tranny.

v6 requires motor mount fabrication and lots of wiring. a camry 3.0L or 3.3L will bolt up to a 2nd gen turbo tranny (i don't remember the name of it)

the 5sfe is not a good engine if you are looking for power.

you could just buy a rear clip of a 3sgte powered mr2 and swap everything in (as long as it comes with a wiring harness)
