tweeters

Can anyone recommend some good speakers for my 2000 honda civic? I was looking at the Alpine SPS-1005 tweeters. Anyone heard good things about these guys?

tweeters are always a good idea if you have a bass unit inside your car. Alpine is a name that can be trusted, but nevertheless tweeters can be inexpensive and still put out large watts even though they are not name brand. Nothing lastes forever but whatever you purchase decideing factors should be longevity VS what you are willing to pay for tweeters. Tweeters are very inexpensive to make and can be as much as $200.00 when sold to a customer.

The Alpines are ok, but if you really want nice highs try MB Quart or something like that. But the Alpines are good enough for most people.

I've never heard of MB Quart. Do you have a link so I can check them out?

Theyre pretty expensive. There are also other brands that are very good. Just do a search on the forums.
