Hey i heard that it is way easier to install the engine from the bottom? Is this true? How can i do this?

If you install an engine from bottom or top, it's still the same work = same ease to put it in.

I was gonna try that on my last swap...but then decided against it.. I didnt really feel safe w/ the car that high on the stands...if you've got a lift, its definitely easy...you just lower the car over the engine...but w/ stands, I dont know if its any easier... the big difference is that you dont have to maneuver around all the a/c lines, etc. and dont have to worry about tilting the tranny side down to get the tranny under...

at work when we dismantle junk cars we drop out the kframe and the motor just falls out, it's beautiful.

So what lift are you talkin about? The engine lift? If so maybe i should try that?:)

i think he means a floor lift, where it raises the body of the car up from the four jack points.
