1988 LeBaron is leaking transmission fluid badly out the pan.
Is there a Drain Plug for the transmission fluid like there is for the oil pan? I seem to remember that if the transmission pan is taken off a car
all the fluid falls out at once....not good in the driveway.

If there is a plug, where shuld I look for it? Thanks very much.

sorry, there is no plug, if you want to drain the oil, you've got to take the pan off. Best thing to do, get a lot of old newspapers and a big container, like a container for holding coolant, and let it all drain from there.

well, the best thing that i have found was to loosen all of the bolts just a little bit and then loosen one corner of the backside of the tranny pan and tap it with a soft blow hammer and then the fluid should come right out slowly, just make sure that you put the same amount back in and that you put the correct mopar fluid in it, i use the fluid, and then some lubegard atf protectant.
