water in dashboard

Hey guys, I need help. I hear water in my dashboard. Last year it was the same thing. I had it flushed,( a lot of money, ) but it is doing the same thing again this year. Is there some kind of plug that may be stopped up? We put freon in it, but it still sounds like a gallon of water sloshing around. Thanks in advance for your help.

does the water sound go away after the engine is up to proper temperature?
does your heater work normally?
ever replaced the radiator cap?
is your temp gauge on the dash behaving normally?
what year truck?

Have a good reverse power flush done on the entire cooling system including the heater core. Should not cost more than $75 USD. Fill with clean fresh coolant and Replace the radiator cap with something other than an ACDelco.

Buy a new rad cap.
And DON'T buy an AC Delco.

We had it flushed. Soon after, we needed a new water pump. Yes the heater works,and it runs the same temp all the time.So get a new radiator cap? We haven't replaced it before. Is there maybe some kind of drain that may be plugged?

Was it reverse power flushed? Any chance that who ever flushed it mixed green and orange coolant? If they left even a little bit of one color in it and then added the other color it could cause problems. I would strongly recommend that You take it to a reputable shop and specifically ask for a reverse power flush and throw the original radiator cap away and replace it with a Stant Cap. That slushy gurgling sound is telling you that there is a problem with your system. My Chevrolet Dealership only gets $75 USD for a reverse power flush, and other shops probably get even less. It is not worth screwing around with.
Have you replaced the intake manifold gaskets yet? Have you noticed "Disappearing Coolant" meaning you continuously have to add coolant but never notice any leaks?

If you have sloshing in the heater core, it is because you have air in your system.
Air enters through a defective rad cap.
Replace the rad cap and listen to us.
It will take some time before the air is worked out of the system. Best bet is to take the truck for a long drive AFTER replacing the rad cap so the air can be removed.
Also, when the engine is dead cold, take the rad cap off and see if the rad is completely full right up to the top.
