Fuel Problem?

I have a 1995 Silverado. A week ago I was driving it and it started to sputter and die. I was able to restart it and get it home. Later it started and drove normally for about 10 miles then it did the same, but I was unable to start it again. The next morning it started up and made it about 5 miles then died. Again, after sitting for a while it started, but the time it stays running decreased. I thought it might have a clogged fuel filter causing a vapor lock, but changing the filter didn't fix the problem. Any idea what the problem may be, if I can fix it myself, and if not, how much it might cost to fix? Any information would be appreciated.

Sounds like your fuel pump is dying. Fuel pressure test could rule it out. Most of the time, the pump will just die, and not work at all, but they have been known to work intermittently before finally giving it up. You can also check the relay for the fuel pump, to make sure it's working.

I am having the same problem. I have changed my oil pressure switch, 3 fuel pumps, and my relay. I have also checked my circuit, it seems to be ok. Is there any other possibilitys that I am missing. It will start and run until i kill it. the the pump will not come on again for a while. then it will start right up. After i stop cranking i can hear the fuel pump buzz then. Whats my problem, any suggestions.
