lol theyre only 40 a ton here now, were 70 for a while then 50, and now crap, and yeah heavy cars getting hard as hell to come by most of them have now been scrapped or demo derbied or wrecked or rusted out
its crazy
snag them up as you can, i found an 84 or so oldsmobile B body coupe i am going ot look at tomorrow thats for sale cheap, gray and olds rallye wheels, want to snag it up too hopefully before someone else does and demo derbies it, and a block away form that is a poor old 79 or so caddy thats alreay started being gutted and says 100 bucks in window,
and i know its a good running car, but almsot too late for the body now.,
ppl are retards i swear, would rather destroy than appreciate,
the big GM cars of the '77-90 years especially were great strong solid good driving reliable cars, but... ppl like to scrap/ demo them, :/

Newer definately isnt always better, especially since the 90's You look at a car now all it is is a pressed steel unibody with a bunch of plastic fenders. Althought It'd be nice if it were a few years older, I'm in love with my 84... got everything I could ever ask in a car (besides power, but I'm workin on it)

agreed :D
its boxies forever
however woudl be nice to own a 63-69 caprice sport coupe HDT
drool.
just fo rsake of having one because they are damn rare now, i could never get my hands on one anyways, juwst owuld be impossible these days, i wasnt born early enough to have had chances to own cars i like, just arent enough of them around anymore, like none or next to it, especially first gen F and G bodies and such, all gone bye bye never see one ever, must be all down south or west ?
ive seen maybe three, possibly four first gen caprices in my life, last oen i saw was in a local towing yard about a 1/2 or 3/4 mile from here and the drivetrain and hood were gone, was light olive green color,
ram horn manifolds and exhaust still in it, 307 badge on one fender and 327 on other, was a 69, and was another one next to it but not a sport coupe it was different body door glass design, im not sure about them, what designs of bodies they had in 69, apparently a few different ones, sports and non-sports
i may have a pic somewhere of one or both, i was taking pics in the yard one day cuz i was buying a 68 c-30 dually dump and was taking pics of it and i went and took pics of other stuff in there too, and of a white 68-72 4 door nova he had in there, was completer and i think ran but sat in weather all the time never driven for tons of years, but was pretty solid looking however, by soem miracle,(maybe not underneath though)
hum.
i dunno,

caprices are harder to find than impalas every body owns impalas and just about all caprice parts fit um so caprices are getting rare but if you find one hold onto it eventually they will be worth more thats why im holding on to my 66 4dht

boy not here, for sure i cant even remember the last time i saw an impala other than the W body pos ones they make now, its been a really super looooong time i know! lol
impalas even rarer, by FAAAAAAR
i consider them all to be rare as hell, big time, same as the first gen k-5 blazers, burbs, panel deliveries(quit making in 70)
all rare stuff, never see one
heh
thanks :D
