emergency break

I need help!! 99 Grand Caravan The pakring brake handle snapped off when I released it. Problem is when I parked car in front of house I automatically engaged the parking break. Does anyone know how I can release the parking break without the lever being attached. Kind of in deep cause I dont want to move car with break engaged Thanks for any and all help

Crawl under the dash and release the mechanism that the shaft of the handle releases. Probably can be done with a screwdriver or a pair of channel locks. Shouldn't be to hard to figure out. The hard part is getting your head under there to look at it.
