alright so a buddy and i are currently debating about which car would be faster, the 2005 civic si or the 2005 lancer ralliart.
both have decent drivers and both are manual tranny. let me know what you guys think

i would say that the SI will edge out the ralliart by very little...really boils down to a drivers race.

I test-drove a Civic Si and bought (and wrecked) a Ralliart last summer, and believe me, the Ralliart is faster. In fact, that's why I bought it. :)

yeah go with the ralliart

I figured the SI would take it by a hair...but yeah 1 driver mistake on either side and a loss is certain

i'd go with the ralliart. both cars make the same hp and weigh about the same but the lancer makes 30 more lbs of tq.

ralliart is faster. look at some magazine stats if you really want to, but both are kinda slow.

not to swap out fact with opinion but which do you really think will do better in the real long run? after that si gets beaten for a little while and after that lancer gets beat? the camparison is very close but the owners should think about whether or not they want a mitsubishi or a honda. Do you or someone you know plan on buying one of these vehicles?
