I was talking to this guy the other day who ownes an '86 Fiero GT V6 auto, completely stock. He proceded to tell me how fast it was. He even claims that he could easily beat a Camaro/Firebird with a 350 V8, and says he has done so. Personally, I do not think this is at all posible. So, yout opinions???

Anything's possible.
But then, it depends on what the V8 guy had under his hood..Not everybody that races on the street has a bonifide hot-rod.
My opinion is that the Camero (Camaro) would have to be pretty damn slow for a stock Fiero to beat it in a straight line. Corners are a different story, driver skill is more important there.

Fiero would have the firebird for may be the first 60 feet. After that a 350CI firebird would take him. V-6 Fiero's only run I think like a 16 second 1/4.

depends on what year, a fiero would punish a 75-88 firebird/camaro, they had about 160 hp to the crank, and much heavier than the fiero
