i own a 1990 buick century and i've sat it for the last three years. it's in a tough position to move so i've been charging the battery at the side of my house. i've gotten it to turn over but it wont fire. i've changed the oil but it still has a full tank of gas from three years ago. the spark plugs were changed before i sat it. any suggestions on how to get it going would be appretiated.

thanks
wes.

Make sure the fuel pump is working. Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail on the engine. If there is no fuel then you may need to change the pump. The fuel filter may also be blocked due to sitting for so long. The other item is the gasoline. After three years the gas may have gone bad and it will not allow the car to fire. You may also want to check and make sure you are getting spark. It is possible that the plug wires have broken down to the point where they will no longer conduct power. The coils may also be bad or the crank position sensor may have a problem. My guess it the fuel system has an issue. If it checks out and you cannot get it to start, post again with what has been tried and we'll give it another shot.
