you may need to buy a longer throttle cable, i'm not sure. I'll see what I can find out tho.

well, im afraid your actually looking for Morley on this one, you could try switching the throttle to the cruise control position, and youd have to reset your TV cable which is easy to do. but other than that, im not really sure why that 1in difference would make that big of a deal, my cables seem to have plenty of slack to accomodate the spacer.

well ill try to put it in the upper mount on that bracket...thanks for yalls help....ya ive never heard of ppl having a problem like what im having. what sucks is its only of by a hair.i mean there has to be a way to adjust it. when you buy a new cable is it the exact size you need it...most of the time its not and there somewere to adjust the tension but im lost.i cant find anywhere to adjust it.

if its only off by a hair what about using a metal file to elongate the opening on the end of the cable? so long as you dont make it too thin it shouldnt effect the lifespan of the part, and if its only off by a tiny bit, using a drill or metal file to open it up enough to slip into place shouldnt hurt anything. just be sure that there isnt enough tention on it once installed that it holds the throttle blades open or youll never be at idle.

ya thats what we started to do but i hate going with the ghetto fix...rather do it right...well what im going to try now is since we raised the tbi and inch im going to find some spacers and raise the bracket up an inch.
