AC Compressor/Clutch Replacement

I already know how to change the AC Compressor/Clutch assembly in my 98 Dodge Ram 5.2L because I did it about 3 months ago. The one I put in has just started having the same symptoms as my first. The symptoms are as follows.

The AC works great for about 15 minutes, Then it quits working for about 15 minutest, then it works for 15 minutes. By "works" I mean, it blows cold (clutch is engaged), Not working means it blows warm (clutch is not engaged).

I have a lifetime warranty on the AC compressor/Clutch assembly, thankfully. But Freon isn't cheap, so does anyone have any idea why my compressor clutch keeps wearing out?
Could it be something else? a switch or something?

might be your refrigerant sensor failing. if not, it sounds like your compressor is overheating. since you sound familiar with A/C, with the engine OFF, try spinning the compressor clutch by hand, it should not be really easy, but not extremely hard either. and since you have a lifetime on the compressor/clutch, jump out your refrigerant sensor with a paperclip, or small wire, see if its still 15 on and 15 off. the sensor should be on the vapor canister, or in one of the lines close to it. 2 wire connector

the switch on the canister is your low side switch if you jump it and the compressor stays engaged all the time then replace the switch, when they go bad they usually cause the compressor to cycle frequently

I'll try jumping the switch., The AC works fine in the morning, and evening, but in the heat of the day is when it does the 15 on/15 off cycle. I live in the Florida Panhandle, so it could be that the compressor is overheating.
I'll let you know what I find out.

I got my compressor clutch from Butler Auto Salvage in Pensacola Florida for 139$. It came with a lifetime warrenty. Works great.
I know Autozone sells them for 186$ I think. Check the salvage yards though, you might get lucky.
