HELP !!! Timing Chain!!! 2.2L Interference Motor or Not?

I blew my timing chain and I just want to know if the cavalier 2.2 litre motor is an interference motor or not? (does the valves get wrecked if the chain goes?) Thanx in advance.

Blew a timing chain? Maybe a belt on the Over Head Cam 2.2 I have not seen a 2.2 pushrod break a chain yet. Some over 300k were a little loose. Pull the plugs, turn it by hand, and look for any damage on the piston tops. A bore scope would be very handy for this. Good Luck.
