stupid gun stuff...

im kinda ticked, but i didnt feel like putting this in the stress release forum. . .

Anyhoo, i WANTED to get a freaking colt anaconda .44http://www.colt.com/colt/assets/images/a2h2_anaconda.gif

but nooooooooooo, in this stupid state, you have to be freaking 21 for a pistol permit!! Plus colt isnt selling those to civialns anymore, becuse they don't want to manufacture their firearms according to the soccermoms' gun regs, i.e. if you point the gun at a person, it will not fire; if you pull the trigger it will not fire; it will not be possible to load the solid cylinder; it will squirt water at targets, and other such nonsense. Im SO PO'ed!! ARGH!! why must people infringe on my rights!? It's getting even worse when it comes to smoking, no smoking in public places; no smoking outside of public places; no smoking in the middle fo the freking woods. hell, tobacco possesion is nearly a felony these days. I guess the CIA would really wanna cut me down if they saw me smoking AND firing a pistol huh? Im so mad!! now that i cant get one of those anaconda's of the presses, i have to find one that someone is selling, and they'll only part with it for aobut $4k!!! ARGH!!

RESPONSIBLE gun owners must unite!!! Im so sick of this ka-ka!! why should OUR fun be taken away because of the actions of criminals and morons?! Its not fair!

Come to think of it, I've never even fired a firearm before.

one question though, and I don't mean to offend or sound stupid, but why would you need such a cannon. it's huge.

I feel you on that one man, what's up with all the regulations. True we need them to have, what's supposedly is supposed to be order, but somtimes they go too far. Especially the smoking rules, if someone wants to smoke, then fuck it. Let them smoke. I'd understand if it was in a closed location, like an office or something, but when you're out in public and there's noone around or enough ventilation then screw it light it up. I want a gun myself, but there are too many bullshit laws and regulations. So I'm sticking to my commando knives and japanese swords. Shit if I can't shoot him, I can slice his fucking balls off.

It's just a hobby, and that is a nice gun. So if you like guns, you would want that gun for the same reason you just want 50 more kw at the wheels :D

Now thats a handgun that'll pack a serious punch. Since you can't lay your hands on one of those, why not head to a neighboring state and pick up a 487 Redhawk? Might be a reasonable alternative for you.

I'm not opposed to guns, I've been out shooting a few times, and I even have my own paintball gun, I've just never had the urge to buy a real one for myself.

Sweet, what kind of paintball gun do you have? I used to have a Spyder SE, now I have an Minimag, but I'm debating on selling it for an Autococker :D

But yeah, Its a hobby, i currently own a Remington model 700 .243

I do paintball too, got an old stingray 2 with 18 inch barrel. Dont laugh, cause i can 5N1P@ j00 @$$! Its actaully pretty good, but im getting more into airsoft, me having a model G3A3 fully auto. Guns are a great hobby methinks, just not when they're misused. Too bad the mdeia only focuses on when they are misused.

Nice rifles btw, I own a .306 Weatherby Mag topped off with a lot of Nikon glass. Quite fun for picking those deer off at a distance :D

I also own a .416 S&W I usualy shoot 350gr Ballistic Tip bullets, at targets that is... I don't think I'll ever get the chance to shoot somthing worthy of it... Like a moose :D

sweet I got a Spyder too. tricked out with trigger job, expansion chamber and a cyclone bolt. the thing shoots so fast.

no offense to you guys, but i HATE automatics. From my experiance, the guys that use the automatics waste 100's of rounds at anything that moves. It ticks me off when i run through the bush and i hear "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt" and they shoot at the spot that i just left. I use a 200 round hopper, and i have yet to go through all the rounds in a single game. It simply isn't needed. If you need to fire fast, pull teh trigger faster ;)

The point is, you only need to land 1 single round on a guy to get him out of the game, not 100. So why use more that 5, assuming that some rounds dont go where they're supposed to? Heck i have a friend that tools me everytime, and he has a pump action gun. 'nuff said :D

Yep semi-auto is the way to go. a quick triple-tap works a charm.
