should i buy?

im new to this site, so hi and i drive a 1990 civic si with sound system(to lazy to type) and nuespeed springs fornt and back and front suspension from toki.
Right now im lookin to make some hp and i found a chip i can install to the ecu that will increase air/fuel ratio, rpm redline, and i believe speed govoner. well here it is thanks for the feed back

ive heard that these chips are bs but ive also heard that they work. I wouldnt expect huge gains maybe a cpl hp. and like the description says any chipped ecu is made for engines with mods like i/h/e. You could prolly get as much hp out of just an e-bay brand cold air intake and it requires a lot less work IMO but for 25 bucks it wont hurt to try the chip

those ebay chips ARE a bunch of BS .All they do is make your car burn gas really fast.I should know couse i bought one from ebay .

A dyno and a programmable ECU is the best way to remap.

i got one of thoughs chipped pr4 ECUs from ebay, it works, said i didnt have to advance my timing cuz the chip will do that for me but i feel it runs better with it advanced. Would probably work better if u had some basic mods done but just dont expect alot. Your biggest hp gain would be from puttin on the intake and a header as far as simple bolt-ons go.

i wouldnt trust ebay for anything. Its your car, treat it like it should be. Dont take the cheap route.
