Whats up guys. This is my new project right now.Revell's 65 chevy stepside. So far the frame has been c-notched and painted, engine is complete minus wiring and plumbing, and the front suspension is about 75% done. Also I've applied the first coat of red to the 2-tone paint on the cab. Rims are from the revell 99 SVT Cobra mustang kit. Anyway here is a couple pics of this one so far..................*Ryan*

well guys hereis a short update on this one. The color choice on the 2-tone has changed due to the fact that I could not find the orange color that I wanted anywhere, nothing even close to it. So I changed the plan a little bit, but I think that it turned out really good anyway. The front suspension is now completed, and the frame is back in putty to clean some things up. I had to remove a couple cross members and then replace them with lower profile ones. I am also going to have to find a lower sitting carb and air cleaner set up as you can see in the pics. anyway here are the pics...............................*Ryan*

Sorry for not having any updates in a while guys, but I will have some new pics up tommorow. The frame is almost done altho it is still in primer due to not having any paint for it right now. Also fixed the hood fitment problem. Got the silver color seperation line done on the body. Body is drying in clear right now so pics will have to wait until tommorow. Dash is complete and 1 door panel complete. I still need to do the BMF on the cab, paint the chassis, finish up the interior plumb and wire the engine and then just final assembly. This one is shaping up to be one of my personal favorites so far. anyway updates tommorow..............................*Ryan*

Thanks a lot eph, at least someone on here has some interest in this build. I have learned that most of the people on here aren't big truck people, lol. But thats ok I am happy with this one and thats what really matters........................*Ryan*

I'm a huge fan of old trucks with modern stuff like yours, dunno how i missed this thread. I think it'd be cool to make a matching Chevelle or Bel Air or something else and put it on that car trailer for display. Nice work on the frame, makes it looks really good, and with the engine you could just leave the air cleaner off cuz some people leave their cars sitting with just a carb, either way, keep it up and i'll be sure to check this often

Thanks man. and ya I havn't really decided what is going to be towed behind this one, but that is a damn good idea about a matching chevelle, hmmmmm maybe the california wheels chevelle wagon as a starting point. Thanks for the comments.....................*Ryan*

Ok guys here are some pics of her in her almost I reapeat ALMOST completed glory, lol. The clear on the cab still needs to fully cure so that it can be polished out, windows installed, and exhaust and driveline attached. Then she will be done.......... thank god, lol. this one has been a lot harder than I anticipated, and it fought me the whole way, lol. But I think it is fairly good. anyway here are a couple pics as she sits........................*Ryan*
