electrical problems

When I step on the brakes front prak lights come on.

Have you done any electrical work under the dash like fog lights , radio , woofers , amp , ??? somehow there is the brake light wire or switch has a cross were its making contact to the parking lights have you checked in the trunk

I have checked in the trunk, no electrical work done.

if you've got a remote starter or alarm, thatd be where I started..

other than that, check the bulbs/harnesses and grounds to make sure they are clean and make a good connection..

pull your brake light bulbs out one at a time, and press on the brake to see if your parking lights still come on.. Might help you narrow down where the short is
