Hey all,
I have a 1976 chevy c10 with 8in. lift running 37in tires I was wondering if anyone has any info. on how I would go about converting it to cross-over steering.

you need to get some flat top knuckles for the passenger side (like the ones on the drivers side), a steering gearbox off of a 2wd Chevy, and have a steering arm made that goes from the pitman arm...straight to the pass. side knuckle. You can either leave the arm that goes from the pass. side to the driver's side, or buy some high steer arms and get it up out of harms way.
You can buy a kit with the steering arms which already has the heims on the end, or either make them youself/have a machine shop make some.
Sky, a good friend, makes some sweet stuff. He makes some of the best 4wd stuff out there. Check his site out here: http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/
