Blue Smoke!

So more problems with my 2002 passat 1.8!

First a refresh, i have had it in 9 times for a water leak. And now its out of warranty and the smell is still there so that means it still leaks! When its humid the water under my carpet gets musty and stinks. NICE!

NOw the new thing! When my car sits for hours and i start it, a cloud of blue smoke comes out the back. BS! 51,800 miles and i got blue smoke already! This is BS! I change the oil regulary, i use synthetic and i dont abuse my car! BS! I am so pissed! NOw how am i gonna sell this pig? Researched for months before buying a car, got the passat for all the great ratings and i got a pain in the neck just as bad as all my old cars! Perfect timing too, just after the warranty expires! Man i am pissed!

Have you tried an fuel induction service that cleans the injecors and valves? Try that and see if it helps. ALso, you will need to replace the carpet if you want to get rid of the smell.

VW already replaced all the carpets, lousy job too BTW. Smell is still there which means leak is still there.

Did not think of doing fuel injection clean. I use high grade fuel, Octane plus, even though much more expensive. I would be surprised if that is it. I thought my last oil change seemed light. I think its the valve seal.

Very disappointed. Very very disappointed. Just gonna sell it.
