i was just curious is it possible that it is just the fuel filter? i havent had this car super long so im kinda at a loss where to even start. it has way more electrical components than my last car(which is making me nervous). My friends dad said the fuel filter but is it really something that simple??? any ideas are appreciated.thanks.

My car was idleing real rough and stalling one day too. But i found out after i thought about where i had got gas and i must have got bad gas. This happend months ago. So i forgot about it kinda and havent bought gas there sence. But a few weeks ago i heard that people buying gas at the place where i got the gas where having problems with stuff cloging up there lawn mowers and other equipment. So i guess i wasnt the only one having problems with that gas. By the way it was a Patco station if that helps any.

i wish that was it because i've already found out where i can and cant get gas at and my car totally detests holiday gas. thanks for the idea and that already crossed my mind but i hadnt filled my car in like 5 days. i also went up to check on her tonight and now she wont even start but everything still has power. it turns over trys to run but when she was stalling out the engine was running wrong either to rich or to lean so tommorrow in daylight im off to check the MAS,air filter and if thats not it im pretty sure its the fuel filter, but thanks i appreciate the input.

Fuel filters are easy to replace. Its located under the car, under the passenger seat, in this protective cage thing. Just take the 8mm bolts off, disconnect it, and change it. 10 bucks @ auto zone or advance

you'll lose just very little fuel. Just leave a small pan under there to catch what fuel does fall out, but its not much at all. It will just be the fuel sitting in the lines. As long as the fuel pump isnt on, and the car is off, you'll be fine.
